Located at Memorial Student Center, University Exchange Bookstore is the official on-campus store for Prairie View AandM University - offering products and services to students, faculty and the surrounding communities both in-store and online. The University Exchange Bookstore is helping to make universities more affordable for students through two major cost saving initiatives—text rental and price match. As part of Follett's network of 1200 campus stores and 1600 virtual stores, the University Exchange Bookstore offers Follett's text rental program, which can help students save up to 80% compared to buying new books. The bookstore's rental program saved more than $20000 for Prairie View AandM University students in the last semester alone. University Exchange Bookstore has also launched a price matching program to further reduce costs. If students find that the course materials they buy in the campus store are advertised from a competitor's retailer at lower prices, they are eligible to charge a price difference from the campus store. This ensures that students receive materials at the lowest possible cost and allows them to use price matching funds for supplies or other required materials.
