ODU Bookstore has a new three-tier bookstore on the University Village campus of Old Dominion University, with more than 20000 titles, and is open every day throughout the year. Marc Katz, head of the trading team at the ODU Bookstore, is happy to give the bookstore the freedom to find new opportunities. His strategy is simple - keeping up with literature and local community trends, and figuring out how bookstores get involved. The bookstore also expanded its book sales support beyond the campus, setting up pop-up stores for events organized by the local world affairs committee, the chamber of Commerce and the Norfolk forum. The ultimate goal of the bookstore team is to make the event a more memorable and meaningful experience for participants. For some people, buying a book in an event pop-up store may be an impulse purchase or a souvenir, but for others, it's about exploring new interests. Besides, ODU Bookstore also hosts in store events to learn about current fanaticism and popular cultural trends.
