Overview

Tiffin University is a private university in Tiffin, Ohio. Founded in 1888, Tiffin University, the main campus in Tiffin, Ohio, the University of Bucharest in Romania, and various locations in Ohio have been accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HLC) for undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including Cleveland, Toledo, and Fremont areas, as well as online. The predecessor of Tiffin University is the School of Business, affiliated to Heidelberg College for 30 years, and is a financially independent independent department or college. It taught business courses common in the popular business schools at the time. After breaking up with Heidelberg College in 1917, the institution moved to the center of Tiffin. It developed a complete four-year curriculum, then added postgraduate courses, which have been accredited. Tiffin University offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in various on-campus, off-campus and online formats. TU is composed of three academic colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, and the College of Criminal Justice and Social Sciences. The Richard C. Pfeiffer Library has a growing collection of books supporting university courses. The library is a member of OPAL and OhioLink, the latter providing online access to a large number of books, e-books and databases, as well as books from any of the other 90 other libraries.
