Fayetteville State University Bookstore is located in the Bronco Plaza Shopping Center across Murchison Road across the Seabrook Auditorium. Fayetteville State University Bookstore serves Fayetteville State University's faculty, staff, students, alumni and the wider community, and is your destination for buying Fayetteville State University clothing and gifts, academic supplies and course materials. Clothes and gifts are located in the Bronco Spirit Shop in the Rudolph Jones Student Center. Fayetteville State University runs a rental program based on tuition and fees. It provides a full set of Fayetteville State clothing and gifts! All undergraduate students automatically become part of the program. Graduate students and doctoral students can choose to join. Distance education students who need to ship books should call. The school starts in May every academic year. The hats and gowns for the bachelor's and master's degrees are provided by Jostens and can be purchased from mid-March. Doctoral students and faculty members can obtain high-quality regalia accessories by making an appointment with a Jostens representative. It takes about 6 weeks from order to delivery to permit you receive your order earlier as soon as possible.

Overview

Fayetteville State University comes from a proud and distinguished history. FSU is the second oldest state aid agency in North Carolina. It was founded in 1867 by seven outstanding black men to provide education to black children. As one of the top three employers in the region (as well as the Fort Bragg and Cape Fell Valley healthcare systems), FSU is the main economic driver of growth in the region. Their students, faculty and staff often work with the military, local businesses, non-profit organizations and institutions to contribute more than 6,000 hours per semester through their service learning program. Since 2009, they have provided more than 100,000 hours of service to the community. Through their outstanding speaker program, comprehensive performance and art series, and the new Seabrook series, FSU is also a major resource for enriching culture. FSU organizes concerts, dances, music, art performances, etc.
