Chico State Bookstore not only sells a wide variety of products, but is also dedicated to save students' money. The bookstore stresses that teachers should adopt textbooks as early as possible, since students have greater opportunities to acquire second-hand books during the buyback period and from wholesalers and distributors. Chico State Bookstore provide a full year buy back service for eligible books and periodicals, which brings used copies and provides funds for students. The bookstore also offers a payment plan, from which students can get course materials now and pay later through their student portal. This helps many students, including those waiting on financial aid distribution.
